            Abstract : 
An adaptive antenna has been designed and developed for land mobile communications. The purpose of the close loop antenna reported here has been to obtain a system that allows experiments to evaluate a possible solution to the mobile antenna segment of a mobile-satellite communications system. The work involved in the antenna design, the calibration, tracking algorithms and field test are reported
