Abstract :
A novel approach to the definition of a space based AMTI system is presented. This is ultimately achieved by defining a set of equations that describe the system´s performance as a function of system cost thus offering the opportunity to optimise the cost-performance analytically. The work in this paper describes the first stages of this task: definition of system performance equations; and comparison of performance predictions with numerical solutions.
