Abstract
The increase of cost and investments in the global healthcare industry which includes medical related hardware´s and infrastructure communications are on the rise and this trend will further continue. As a result of this challenge, misunderstandings often arise among policy makers, patients and healthcare providers in regards to the sustainability of investment of technology among healthcare providers. During the initial stages, policy makers might be able to partially subsidize, but this will eventually will to be self-sustainable. This paper attempts to present the technology sustainability on Healthcare Governance in Malaysia by introducing terms such as governance, sustainability and factors of technology acceptance that affects governance and sustainability. The paper concludes by analysing and discussing the theoretical foundations for linking healthcare governance and technology sustainability among healthcare providers in Malaysia.
