Abstract :
A new undergraduate curriculum in electrical engineering has been approved by the faculty of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Illinois. Major changes have been incorporated, including a redistribution of the circuits and signal processing topics within the curriculum. This paper gives an overview of the new curriculum and provides some of the rationale for the changes
