Abstract :
Non geostationary satellite constellations offering world-wide coverage are compared in terms of minimum satellite footprint, given the constellation size. This corresponds to constellations offering to the user the largest minimum elevation angle. Both optimally phased constellations and arbitrarily phased ones are considered with satellites in polar and non polar orbits
