Abstract
Static pushover analysis is a main method of structure´s anti-seismic elastic-plastic analysis. Using this method combined with finite element software to analyze the numerical model which is rationally simplified from actual building, would be an important way for engineers to evaluate the performance of structures under earthquake. In this paper, based on a pushover test of a full-scale model, which is a two-story frame with dense grid slender columns, three finite element softwares were used to simulate the process of pushover test. And the numerical results were compared with test data, so that we can verify the reliability of numerical method through pushover analysis method in evaluating the structures´ seismic capacity.
