Abstract :
In this paper, the loss analysis simulation platform including power semiconductor devices and magnetic elements is proposed. Concept of the platform is described and thermal module used to calculate the loss of power semiconductor devices in PSIM is explained. Using the design data of inductors and transformers, loss of inductors and transformers is calculated and loss calculating algorithm of magnetics is composed in the PSIM. Power loss data is generated and analysis is performed to verify the validity of the proposed simulation platform.
