Abstract :
In the article the process of transformation of longitudinal vibrations into radial ones was investigated; different designs of transducers (symmetric, partially symmetric and asymmetric) intended for continuous welding of thermoplastic materials were analyzed. Calculations based on mathematical modelling were presented; the design of the welding tool designed for continuous welding of thermoplastic materials was developed.
