Abstract
In this paper, an improved (G´/G)- expansion method is used to seek more general exact solutions of (3+1)-dimensional KdV equation. By using symbolic computation, seventeen non-traveling wave solutions are obtained including hyperbolic function solutions, trigonometric function solutions and rational solutions. The proposed method can be used for many other nonlinear evolution equations in mathematical physics.
