Abstract :
This paper presents a proposed method with implementation of imaging techniques aiming to aid the current oil and gas industries for detector mapping in refineries and petrochemical plants. The proposed method is developed using MATLAB and the Image Processing Toolbox. Various type of imaging techniques are reviewed and chosen to be used in certain modules of this method. Currently the method is still in early stage of development and the testing is done to validate it.
