Abstract :
This paper presents a 12-sector antenna using a proximity coupled taper slot antenna (PCTSA). By optimizing a parameter of PCTSA, we demonstrated the 12-sector antenna experimentally. By using a cylindrical reflector, the side lobe level caused by the mutual coupling of the adjacent elements is suppressed. This sector beam antenna has a front gain of 7 dBi and its half-power beamwidth is about 30/spl deg/ in the H plane.
