Abstract :
Nowadays wood-based panels are widely used in furniture manufacture and interior decoration. They would release formaldehyde during the service for most of them being bonded with the formaldehyde-based adhesive. The formaldehyde does a great harm to people´s health. Measurements should be taken to lower the formaldehyde emission. Several methods were introduced in this paper to solve the problem. There is a well defined market for the environmental friendly wood-based panel production.
