Abstract :
Intermittent intensity clutter may severely contaminate the signal detection and identification for wind spectral of Wind profiling radar. In order to remove such clutter, a method based on Zak time-frequency representation (TFR) is proposed. Not only the intermittent intensity clutter can be separated from the atmospheric signal in the time-frequency domain, also the atmospheric signal can be obtained in the time domain by reconstruction after the clutter removal. The theory and simulation also show that the method is valid.
