Abstract :
This paper presents modeling and analysis of leakage flux in transformer with and without aluminium shield by Finite Element Method (FEM) to reduce the stray losses. The transformer is simulated on Maxwell 14.0 software. The study describes variation in leakage flux and magnetic flux density with and without shielding and total losses variation with and without aluminum shields on tank walls.
