Abstract

Product modeling methodology and development accomplished for turn-mill component with STEP-NC system review has been given. ISO 14649 data model is used for developing generic product data model and STEP-NC interface. General product modeling structure detail description of its components on the bases of ISO standard has been included. Object oriented information modeling and programming has been implemented and a part 21 file for ISO14649-12 example part generated. An illustration of design and manufacturing module of turn-mill machining interface of the system also included.
