Abstract :
The pseudospectral time-domain (PSTD) algorithm is extended to model the electromagnetic scattering from both 2-D and 3-D objects. The plane wave excitation and the time domain near-far field transforms are efficiently incorporated into the scattered field PSTD algorithm. Numerical results demonstrate the effectiveness of the algorithm.
