Abstract
In light of the research area current problems, SWAT model is chosen to simulate the infiltration quantity in the western of Jilin province, China. Based on data collection and field investigation, soil database has been built up in the study area. Matlab has been applied to re-calculate the diameter proportion of the soil components and SPAW used to obtain soil attributes. Result shows that in 2004a the infiltration quantity is about 2.2×108 m3. Comparing the result from SWAT with the calculation method, land use and its influence on hydro-effect can be obtained.
