Abstract :
With the rapid growth of new cellular communication systems on different frequency ranges and the introduction of satellite navigation systems (i.e. GPS) in modern cars a multitude of car antennas is required, which all have to be mounted on the car body. In the paper a multiband car antenna is presented, designed as a dual band planar inverted-F antenna (PIFA) with integrated additional GPS antenna.
