Abstract
An EMC course specifically designed for computer engineering students is proposed. The course is based on the electric and magnetic potentials rather than on fields. This approach emphasizes a circuit approach to electromagnetics so that students who do not have a background in electromagnetic field theory can gain a useful base in electromagnetic compatibility issues.
