Abstract :
In this work, the influence of mobility and traffic of users is studied and simulated on a third generation microcellular environment wireless communication system. To study this system, an analytical model is developed. This model takes into account the behaviour of the mobiles as speech and/or data users in an urban area and the system functions involved, which are interacting simultaneously all together. In the literature some works can be found which deal with certain aspects of the system, studying them alone and without interactions between them. In this work a complete model is proposed. It combines all the system characteristic functions derived from access to a group of limited resources which are shared by a variable number of users. Moreover, this model includes the mobility as a variable parameter that impacts on system performance. Also, different output data can be extracted from this model to give qualitatively different information about the system. On the other hand, in order to validate the analytical model, some computer simulations have been done
