Design and Implementation of Workflow System on Bachelor Degree Final Design

Nowadays, there exist some difficulties in the workflow of the bachelor degree final design. At students´ final year at university, some students have to intern in the fields. They are hard to communicate with supervisors face to face when they do final designs. Even though the students are in the university, meeting face to face wastes a lot of time. In order to improve the work efficiency of the bachelor degree final design, according to the actual requirements to control the workflow of the bachelor degree final design, a B/S-based workflow system on bachelor degree final design is design. The system enables student users to view final design-related information, to generate the template of the paper and the paper-related documents and to process the documents online or offline. The supervisor users can view degree final design-related information, assign the paper titles and the final design mission statements to their students, and modify their students´ papers and paper-related documents online. Testing shows that the system improves the work efficiency of the degree final design as anticipated, and it is suitable to be popularized in university degree final designs.
