Abstract :
Summary form only given. The transport for low-z impurities in IR-T1 Tokamak (R=45 cm, a=12.5 cm, B/sub t/=0.6-0.9 Tesla, I/sub p/=25-40 kA, /spl tau//sub d/=20-22 ms) has been studied theoretically and in conjunction with several experiments. As a result we have determined some ionization stage profiles of the main components of impurities (oxygen and carbon) with a single channel visible spectrometer. A one-dimensional impurity transport code has been set up, and some characteristics of the impurity transport in IR-T1 Tokamak have been analysed. The numerical analysis was done by a set of coupled continuity equations in cylindrical coordinates with ionization and recombination coefficients given by the Lotz semi-empirical formula and by the Kramer formula respectively.
