Abstract :
Electromagnetic Scattering from Discrete Bodies of Revolution (DBOR´s) is performed by invoking a recently developed, recursive linear system direct solver. The problem is initially formulated via a standard Moment Method (MoM) with point matching, however the DBOR symmetry is taken into account to simplify calculations. Specifically, the MoM matrix is cast in a form comprising circulant blocks, which is amenable to eigenvalue decomposition, and subsequent direct matrix inversion by an efficient recursive technique.
