  • Abstract
    The link and system level performance of a cellular OFDM/CDMA downlink is evaluated. A system level simulator is built to utilise the link level simulation results and to derive the actual network capacity. Three service transmission rates, i.e., 12 kbits/s, 144 kbits/s and 2 Mbits/s have been studied in the evaluation of the suitability of OFDM/CDMA as an UMTS multiple access method. The work has been performed within the European Union ACTS program in the FRAMES project
