Abstract :
The authors present a method by which the classroom and laboratory experience can be integrated to effectively educate the upper-division or graduate-level student. Emphasis is placed on developing problem-solving and design skills in the application of computer organizational and architectural design techniques. Specific laboratory experiences that assist this process are presented.<>
