Abstract :
Based on social exchange theory and the principle of reciprocity, this paper discusses the relationships among employees´ perceived organizational support (POS), job satisfaction, turnover intention and locus of control, and proposes a theoretical model that job satisfaction mediates the relationship between perceived organizations and turnover intention, and 384 employees were assessed as a sample of the empirical research. This paper uses the locus of control to test the influence of individual employee´s attitude towards turnover intention. The results showed that: perceived organizational support had a significant positive correlation with job satisfaction; perceived organizational support had a significant negative correlation with turnover intention; and job satisfaction mediates the relationship between perceived organizational supports and turnover intention.
