Abstract :
An effective modeling of nonlinearities and the analysis of the influence on the closed-loop dynamics in mechatronic systems such as servo systems is often crucial for high performance applications. For this we propose an analytical method of approximate modeling of a class of nonlinear mechanical oscillators using fuzzy systems. The emphasis in this work will be on a systematic description of the construction of fuzzy systems from known nonlinear models and an error analysis as a function of model complexity. Finally, its application as a model framework for an effective gain-scheduling control design method will be discussed.
