Abstract :
An adaptive superresolution algorithm, called the signal suppression algorithm, is derived and analyzed. The algorithm, which controls an adaptive filter, is derived by the method of steepest descent with the constrained minimization of the filter output power as the performance criterion. Computer simulation results verify the effectiveness of the algorithm in resolving closely spaced signals. Several methods of applying the algorithm to the suppression of interface are described
