Abstract :
This paper describes a new error resilient analysis-by-synthesis coding scheme and its application for robust still image transmission over DS-CDMA Rayleigh fading channels. The channel uses Reed-Solomon (RS) outer codes concatenated with convolutional inner codes, and a truncated type-I hybrid ARQ protocol based on the selective repeat strategy and the RS error detection capability
