Abstract :
Computing the radio coverage for networks of FM or TV transmitters needs a lot of high performance computing resources. The client-server architecture of the Web allows the clients to work with these computing utilities by a Web-interface. But the hypertext language permits only limited interactivity for Web-applications. The programming language JAVA gives the complete interactive functionality to a graphical user interface embedded in Web-pages. The project described shows how a Wndows application can be exported on the Web. It is the Web-interface of the existing Windows application CECILIA developed by the TDF-C2R. This application computes and edits prediction maps of radio coverage
