Abstract :
This paper presents an inverse scattering method for imaging defects embedded into known structures based on a modified version of the linear sampling method. The main features of the proposed approach are the computational effectiveness paired with a non-approximated modeling. As such, the method is able to deliver reliable results almost in real time. A representative numerical example is shown to point out the achievable performances.
