Abstract :
System simulation from high level of abstraction is an important topic in academic research and industrial development. The usage of SystemC constructs enable the modeling of functionality of a system and the fast simulation and evaluation. The session will discuss approaches from different application domains. Furthermore, approaches for processors, generated with tools for specific applications are discussed. Especially for embedded systems, application specific processors are of high importance to fulfill the general system constraints. The development of such processors is a time consuming and challenging task.
