Abstract :
This power point presentation present the workbench faraday cage method intends to obtain a figure of merit for ICs in a practical application, i.e. including the PCB and connected cabling. The method allows for optimizing and comparing ICs and/or PCB designs. WBFC method has a high repeatability and a good relationship to the measured RF emission of final applications with the integrated circuits used. IEC standardized method to measure conducted emission (IEC 61967-5) and conducted immunity (IEC 62132-5) of integrated circuits.
