Abstract :
Iron roughneck is a kind of rotating screw device for drill pipes, which is multi-functional, safe and efficient. In the production process, through the automatic control method or remote operations by control platform, it can accomplish the movements, such as rotating screw, thread making, back-off, etc., so it is a very important auxiliary equipment in the automatic drilling process. In this paper, according to the working characteristics of iron roughneck, and the problem of multi-cylinder interference between each basic circuit, we choose the load sensitive and proportional multitandem valve as the control element of the loop direction and the flow, design the hydraulic system of iron roughneck and do some related calculations.
