  • Abstract
    A novel application of an acoustic plate mode (APM) sensor was proposed to monitor the processes of cell adhesion, proliferation and differentiation. In a preliminary study, Hep G2 human hepatocellular carcinoma incubated on the surface of the electrode-less quartz plate surface showed a promising biocompatibility and the feasibility of utilizing the APM sensor for quantitatively analysing cell adhesion and cell proliferation in the in vitro condition.
