Abstract :
The paper researches identification methods for two kinds of 3-D textures. Based upon wavelets, a method to pick up ballistic texture is given and a set of parameters to characterize the engineering texture is also proposed. These two approaches have been shown by experiments to satisfactorily identify some surface textures.
