Abstract :
In this paper, a new fuzzy time-varying sliding mode control method for a class of nonlinear systems with uncertainties is presented. Combining fuzzy control and sliding mode control, the chattering of systems is eliminated. A time-varying sliding surface is designed to guarantee that system lies on it from any arbitrary initial states. This method exhibits strong global robustness against parameter variations and external disturbance. Computer simulation results show it is correct and efficient.
