Abstract :
This paper presents an approach to the development of the method for predicting the performances of CHP steam turbo-generators at design and off-design conditions. As the basis is used the method developed by General Electric engineers for condensing steam turbines. The method is up to dated for contemporary steam turbines and adapted for frequency of 50Hz. After the implementation of the necessary adoptions the efficiency calculation for low pressure CHP turbine is made and the results are compared to the results obtained from the turbine manufacturer.
