  • Abstract
Wireless communication systems use modulated forms of low power microwave radiation and research efforts converge on the possible effects that may occur after prolonged exposure at such low levels. Data at present available does not suggest any immediate cause for concern. Nevertheless some people do report anomalous physical response with mobile phone usage. From study of such cases known personally, anecdotal though they may be, certain common factors have emerged. It may be that these precursor factors can produce the syndrome known in Sweden, Norway, Japan, the US as electromagnetic hypersensitivity. This applies to but a small percentage of people but if they can be identified problems may be minimised
