Abstract
GNSS sensors have become critical in some applications while the low power levels of the received signals are vulnerable to interference. This paper presents a system made of networked low-cost monitoring stations with the ability to detect and localize interference sources. The method is based on time difference of arrival (TDOA) measurements obtained by cross-correlating raw IF samples collected by unsynchronized front ends. The capabilities have been demonstrated experimentally in a controlled test executed in June 2012 with commercial jammers in both stationary and dynamic scenarios.
