            Abstract :
Computational intelligence is now widely accepted in many industries but in the early stage it was not so easy to influence company engineers and researchers to accept these concepts. The article considers in particular concepts of fuzziness. It first briefly considers early control applications. It then examines ways in which this nonacceptance has been overcome by education, focussing on CAI and correspondence courses. Finally, it considers the future progress of computational intelligence, especially in the legal field.
