Abstract :
The intended user, involved in an automobile accident, desires an electric wheelchair with capability of lifting the user to a position wherein the user can reach elevated objects that cannot normally be reached from a sitting position. Get-Up and Go accomplishes this by fitting the client´s existing wheelchair with wheel drive motors and a motorized seat lift mechanism
