Abstract :
In this paper, we introduce the design method for multirate output feedback based frequency shaped sliding mode control. A switching type reaching law has been used for the vibration suppression of the smart structure. The frequency shaping approach is used to suppress the vibratory modes of smart structure excited during the sliding mode.
