Abstract :
We demonstrate simultaneous 4times10 Gb/s all-optical pulsewidth tunable NRZ-to-RZ format conversion using nonlinearities in SOA and fiber. Pulsewidth tuning range from 20 ps to 80 ps is obtained for RZ outputs with negative power penalties compared to NRZ.
