Abstract :
This paper presents a stabilizing controller parametrization method of Fault Tolerant Control Systems (FTCS) based on the stochastic exponential mean square (EMS) stability of the Markovian model of FTCS. The free parameters of the controller parametrization are real matrices or scalars therefore it is easy to implement numerically. Furthermore, a relation between the necessary existence conditions of stabilizing controllers and the classical Linear Quadratic Regulator (LQR) is shown and can be used to direct the parameter selection. As a possible application, this parametrization result can be used with the randomized algorithms for controller design.
