Abstract :
A system and a set of algorithms for detecting deinterleaving, and estimating the parameters of frequency-hopping signals are described. The system uses a compressive receiver to acquire the signal data within a specified bandwidth and a data collection unit to store a short segment of this data. The algorithms determine the number of narrowband signals present, the number of frequency-hopping signals present, the hop rate, hop pulse duration, and relative hop start times for each frequency-hopped signal. Both simulated results and results obtained with collected data are described
