Abstract :
Based on our patented new manufacturing technology, ion-implanted, holographically generated refractive index modulation grating couplers for single mode optical waveguide sensors can be produced. The mode spectrum of the new sensor elements shows narrow FWHM resonance peaks, thus increasing the sensitivity.
