Abstract :
We demonstrate the manipulation of a passively mode-locked erbium-doped fiber laser among stable Q-switching, Q-switched mode-locking, continuous-wave mode-locking, pulse splitting, and harmonic mode-locking by adjusting a polarization controller without changing the pump power.
