  • Abstract
    The gas flow distribution of a moving granular bed of limestone particles has been analyzed numerically by using computational fluid dynamics (CFD) method. The SIMPLE method is applied in the calculations of Reynolds averaged flow equations and k-ε turbulence equations. The results showed that when the angle between two side of the moving granular bed is 10 degrees, the air streamline is smooth; the flow flux deviation between the upper, middle and the bottom of the moving granular bed is less than 3%; the pressure loss approximately is 500pa.
