Abstract :
Channel mobility degradation due to normal field is the dominant source of nonlinearity that limits the achievable large signal performance in continuous-time filters using MOSFETs to emulate transconductors and resistors. In this paper the harmonic distortion due to mobility degradation is analyzed, as well as that due to MOSFET capacitor nonlinearity. The influence of finite amplifier bandwidth on linearity is also discussed. Results are compared to experiments
